Farm l’Orto del Pian del Bosco
A story that bears fruit slowly, enriching itself day after day with new experiences.
This adventure was started by Andrea, who in 1997 decided to begin a biological journey, a path that would lead him to compete with new sustainable and ethical cultivation methods that would give new life to the land.
Manuela joins him a few years later, they meet at a summer camp and it is there that, they fall in love and decide to continue their biologic adventure together. Andrea and Manuela’s small project was built and the Orto del Pian del Bosco farm was born.
Irene, Andrea’s sister, also decides to join the family and chooses to build something for the future.
With this new member on the team, they start to produce preserved products, with organic and sustainable products that arise from the most genuine raw materials. A kitchen is also opened, where jams and preserves are prepared, produced directly from the freshly picked products.
Today the Orto del Pian del Bosco is a farmhouse, an educational farm, a transformation laboratory, a place where nature is valued and rewarded through the careful study of biodiversity.
A place where you always learn something new, experiment and always find the best way to give value to the land.
When we ask Manuela which part of her work she prefers, she replies “the diversity, the constant commitment, the feeling of really building something.
I collect the fruits, I prepare the preserves, I take care of the agritourism and I am in full contact with nature. I dedicate the afternoon to my children.”
A union of forces and goals that have in common love, for the family, for the land, for the future.
